# Buy & Burn Engine

HERO features a dedicated Buy & Burn contract designed to accumulate native coin (ETH on Base, PLS on PulseChain) and execute powerful buybacks that permanently reduce supply.

## How it works

* Accumulation: A portion of each swap is routed in native coin to the Buy & Burn contract.
* Scheduling: The engine operates in discrete time intervals, derived from:
  * Interval Time — 30 minutes
  * Daily Allocation — 1 - 10% of the PLS/ETH Balance.
* Execution: Anyone can trigger the buy-and-burn via the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.vicfoundation.com/) once the next interval’s allowance is available.
* Incentive: The caller receives an incentive fee in native coin (1.5%) for executing the burn.

These parameters make the burn flywheel predictable, fair, and community-executable.

## Key Readouts

Dashboard can display live values such as:

* Total native coin queued for burning.
* Next buy-and-burn amount for the current interval
* User incentive in native coin for triggering
* Countdown to next interval and last execution timestamp

Together, these create an engaging, transparent gameplay loop that constantly puts buy pressure on HERO while rewarding active community members.
